Last we checked in on the Bears’ injury report on Friday, there were nine players questionable to play in Sunday’s game against the Lions.
Two of those players appear to have been given the green light to give it a full-go:
Bears’ WR’s Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney, both listed as questionable for Sunday due to knee injuries, both are expected to play vs. the Lions, per source.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets wide receivers Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney are expected to play against the Lions in Week 13. I don’t need to overstate the importance of having Robinson and Mooney in the lineup, so I won’t. But just know that I thought about diving into the obviousness of how it would stink for Chicago to be without both of its starting receivers. Because even against the Lions, it’s nice to have all available bodies.
Robinson and Mooney had their knee issues come up in Friday’s practice. When speaking about each injury, Head Coach Matt Nagy said the practice limitations were a precautionary measure. Even still, thinking about wide receivers, knee injuries, and December temperatures gives me pause. Hence, I’m happy to see both players have been clearance to play on Sunday.
There are still some key cogs whose statuses are up in the air. With perhaps the most important being Akiem Hicks. But I suppose we’ll receive updates closer to game-time, as we did last week.
