This is what the Bears offense was supposed to look like. It was supposed to have tempo and pace. A multi-pronged rushing attack with a complementary passing game.
And in the middle of it all, second-year back David Montgomery was supposed to be a featured component.

That’s now TWO rushing touchdowns for Montgomery. And three first half scores on the ground for the Bears offense. They’ve scored 23 points in the first half. There have been six games in which they have scored fewer than 23 points overall.
Yeah, I know. It’s the Lions. But maybe the Bears are finding something? Hey, I’ve gotta ask…
