Akiem Hicks kept an optimistic tone when discussing his potential return for Sunday’s game against the Lions. But after missing last week’s game against the Packers and being questionable to play against Sunday because of a hamstring issue, doubt crept in regarding Hicks’ status.
However, the Bears released their list of inactive players for today’s game — and it doesn’t include Hicks:

In fact, all of the nine players who were “questionable” on the injury report are active and reporting for duty. That means Khalil Mack, Allen Robinson, Darnell Mooney, Nick Foles, and the others have a green light to give it a full-go against the Lions.
As for the Lions, they aren’t exactly a picture of health right now:
The Lions' inactives for Week 13 at Chicago:
RB D'Andre Swift
WR Kenny Golladay
CB Jeff Okudah
DL Da'Shawn Hand
DE Austin Bryant
QB David Blough— Chris Burke (@ChrisBurkeNFL) December 6, 2020
The Lions are without their star receiver (Kenny Golladay), stud rookie rusher (D’Andre Swift), and first-round cornerback (Jeff Okudah) — among others. Detroit has quite the climb ahead of itself if it wants to pull off the upset.
With the Bears’ postseason hopes hanging by a thread, they needed all hands on deck on the health front. Now that they’ve got that going for them, they need a win … and a bunch of help elsewhere. Hey, no one said this was going to be easy.
