I’m riding the wave of Russell Wilson rumors to the moon.
Next stop, the Bears reciprocating interest in the star quarterback:

Here’s the money line:
“The Bears would do cartwheels to get Russell Wilson at this point,” said NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo on a radio hit. “They have been really persistent, from what I’mm told, in reciprocating the interest.”
In case you missed it, Russell Wilson trade rumor chatter hit a fever pitch today. It started with Wilson’s camp reportedly speaking to the Seahawks regarding possible trade destinations. From there, it grew to the sharing of a list (via Wilson’s agent) of teams which he would accept a trade – the Bears were among those teams.
Hence, the Bears being “persistent” in “reciprocating” their interest in making Wilson their franchise quarterback.
Miss me with a suggestive emoji and bring on old-fashioned courtship featuring grand gestures of adoration. Especially for a quarterback as gifted as Wilson.
To be fair, Garafolo also reiterated the Seahawks’ desire to keep Wilson for this season. And why wouldn’t they? The guy is a star. But that Wilson has a set of teams he’s willing to be dealt to tells us all we need to know about the situation. In other words, strap yourselves in for an obsessive Wilson watch.
