Justin Fields is Thoroughly Enjoying a Quintessential Summertime Chi Friday

Nothing hits like a payday Friday during the summer in Chicago.

And it certainly hits differently when you’re Justin Fields.

Fields signed his Bears rookie contract today:

This put the quarterback-of-the-future in the fold on an officially official basis. And to celebrate the occasion, Fields (and other Bears draft picks) did what any warm-blooded Chicagoan would do in that situation by spending the afternoon enjoying day baseball at Wrigley Field:

Fields and friends are watching a doozy, too. Not only is it a classic Cubs-Cardinals matchup, but also a see-saw tilt that is tied at 5-5 after six innings.
