Bears training camp opens later this month. That’s the good news. Unfortunately, the bad news is that football content figures to be limited between now and when things kick off.
So, in the meantime, here are some Justin Fields highlights for your eyeballs:

And I hope you’re ready for more, because there will be more coming in the near future. In fact, we’ll be featuring Fields’ best clips every Friday until he starts a regular-season game. So while I’m unsure if Twitter user @JCarl1994’s intent was to inspire me to go down a Fields highlight rabbit hole every week, that is what is happening now. But for what it’s worth, I don’t think anyone will mind. And, frankly, there isn’t a better place to start.
Think about it. This was Fields’ signature moment. It’s the college football semifinals and Fields is coming off his worst game as a collegiate player (he was rough against Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game). But football, much like life, is so often about how you bounce back after taking a fall. And for Fields, that Northwestern game was a minor setback that set up a major comeback.
In the biggest game of the year against a favored opponent, Fields put up bonkers numbers:
⇒ 22 of 38 for 385 yards
⇒ 6 touchdowns, 1 interception
⇒ 8 rushes, 42 yards
⇒ 1 epic win against Clemson and Trevor Lawrence
That performance should have cemented Fields’ place in the top-5 of the 2021 NFL Draft. But for whatever reason, it didn’t. Ah, well. Bears fans don’t mind one bit that Fields fell to 11th, a place where their team could easily trade up for the Ohio State QB. Not one bit.
You can watch an expanded set of Fields highlights below. And trust me when I say you’ll want to do that:
