Another day, another trip to Bears Camp. And yet another morning of being wowed by Justin Fields.
But it’s not just fans in the stands. Because when Jimmy Graham was asked about whom Fields reminds him of, his answer was as “wow-ing” as one of those side-arm tosses that have fans at camp going nuts.
“That guy in Seattle,” Graham said, via The Athletic’s Adam Jahns.
In case you’re new to the scene, That Guy In Seattle is Russell Wilson. Graham and Wilson were teammates in Seattle for three seasons. In in his final two campaigns, Graham put together his fifth and sixth Pro Bowl appearances. In other words, this is high praise from a guy who has also caught touchdown passes from Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
The expanded comments from Graham are eye-opening, too:

Look … I don’t want to go too far down this rabbit hole. I’m old enough to remember some of the favorable comparisons Mitchell Trubisky drew in his growing stages. But it isn’t going to stop me from dreaming big on Fields’ future. Especially when Fields is tiers above where Trubisky was as a prospect coming out of college. So, no matter how you slice it, it’s OK to be pumped up over Fields. His teammates are, so you should join them!
