Justin Fields Gets Shoutouts From LeBron James and Dwyane Wade Because Of Course

Chicago Bears

Justin Fields was a baller in his preseason debut.

Fields completed 14 of 20 passes, threw for 142 yards, and a touchdown. His 106.7 passer rating was the best among the five first-round quarterbacks who were chosen in the 2021 NFL Draft. And he added five rushes, 33 yards, and a ground score for good measure. There were highlight runs and show-stopping throws that caught the attention of onlookers far and wide.

Behold, the newest members of the Justin Fields Fan Club — and by proxy, Bears Twitter:

You know you’re doing something right when LeBron James chimes in with some love. James, an Ohio native, has been pretty vocal about backing Ohio State players in school and after they leave for the pros. So, that’s always cool to see. And we know James is always looking to join a championship caliber team.

As for Dwyane Wade, he is a Chicagoan and life-long Bears. So it’s no surprise he was there to chime in with the perfect .gif for describing the feels while watching Fields. And he absolutely nailed it.

Again, it’s just one preseason game. But the bandwagon is filling up quickly.
