With Andy Dalton set to be the Bears QB1 until further notice, the most we’ll see from Justin Fields will come in the form of sideline shots that allow broadcasters to do everything from question when he’ll enter a game, explore Chicago’s futile quarterbacking history, and everything/anything else.

Well, unless Matt Nagy pulls a Roger Dorn and activates himself, then takes over quarterback duties. I mean, the coach can still sling it.
In the end, I simply can’t ignore the urges nudging us to think about the big picture. This leaves us needing to corral our feelings, set them aside, and live in the present. But that is challenging when Fields’ upside is so tantalizing. The wait figures to be longer than what many would like, so we might as well enjoy what we get whenever we get it as we dream of a brighter future.
