In addition to being an all-world defender, Khalil Mack is a rebel who plays by his own rules.
So, in just in case you thought Mack wouldn’t give it a go this weekend because he was listed as questionable on the injury report, please think again:
Khalil Mack will play Sunday.

Bears OLB Khalil Mack: “If I’m out there, I’m 100 percent."

That’s all I needed. Hearing it from The Man himself is everything I was wanting to hear. Although, hearing about how he came up with a ribs injury last week wasn’t ideal. But Mack is well enough to play through that, as well as the foot injury that occurred the week prior in Cleveland.
I probably don’t need to regurgitate why it is important Mack plays. But what’s the harm? Mack’s peers rank him as the NFL’s 23rd best player on the top-100 list. Pro Football Focus considers him the league’s second-best defensive player right now. The grading calculator at PFF spit out a 92.5 grade for Mack last year, which was the best among players at his position. And Mack is so good, the Raiders reportedly asked the Bears to trade him back. But the the Bears said “no-trade-backsies.” Or something to that effect.
