The Robert Quinn Comeback Tour now features some hardware.
After racking up sacks and stops throughout the last month, Quinn was honored with a major award:

Quinn is the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month for November. This marks the first time Quinn has won a Defensive Player of the Month award in his career. And in earning the honor, Quinn becomes the first Bears player to do so since Eddie Jackson in November 2018. Fun times those were for Jackson. And the same can be said for Quinn.
In three games last month, Quinn collected 5.5 sacks, 6 quarterback hits, 5 tackles-for-loss, and 14 total tackles. That is a pretty bonkers month with all sorts of stat-sheet stuffing. Quinn was a force on the defensive end, doing his part to keep games competitive with his pass-rushing prowess. And that he was able to rack up sack numbers while his tag team partner in crime Khalil Mack was out with an injury truly speaks volumes for how dominant Quinn was in November.

Re-living that run of awesomeness was nice.
This feels like a long time coming for Quinn, who was struggling to make an impact this time last year when he was in his first season with the Bears. A year later, we’re seeing why GM Ryan Pace threw a boatload of cash at Quinn two offseasons ago. It sure looks like money well spent now that Quinn has found his zone.
The 4-7 Bears host the 9-2 Cardinals at Soldier Field on Sunday. Quarterback Kyler Murray figures to return after spending a few weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury. Should Murray indeed return, Quinn will have his eyes squarely on him as he looks to add to his 11 sacks in 2021. And while it’s been easy for us to look to the future, Quinn is doing his part to make sure we enjoy what we can in the present with his play.
