Another Sunday of NFL action is in the books, and save for tonight’s Patriots-Bills matchup, Week 13 of the NFL season is in the books. Let’s take a spin around the NFL and recap the action from the week that was.
• Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs continue to roll, picking up their fifth consecutive victory over the Denver Broncos, 22-9.

• Mahomes has completed 122-of-201 passes for 1,291 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions during the Cheifs’ five-game winning streak. The Chiefs have outscored their opponents 115-56 and picked up wins against the Giants, Packers, Cowboys, Raiders, and Broncos, four of which came into the game with Kansas City having a winning record. Kansas City’s defense is holding opponents to 11.2 points per game during their winning streak, a significant turnaround from the first seven games of the season when they allowed 29 points per game.

• The San Francisco 49ers took a hit to their playoff hopes on Sunday, dropping their contest with the Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers fall to 6-6 and lose ground on the 10-2 Arizona Cardinals and 8-4 Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West. The 49ers are still clinging to the seventh and final playoff spot in the NFC, but the Eagles are just a half-game behind them.

• John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens had a chance to tie the game with an extra point and send their matchup with the Steelers to overtime, but they opted to go for the win with a two-point conversion attempt.
The two-point attempt is NO GOOD. #BALvsPIT pic.twitter.com/tl74jaHz9x

• Baltimore came up just short on the conversion attempt and lost to the Steelers 20-19 after Lamar Jackson’s pass was just out of the reach of tight end Marc Andrews. However, honestly, I still respect the hell out of Harbaugh’s decision to go for the win in that situation.
• Ron Rivera and the Washington Football Team keep on finding ways to win these days as they topped the Raiders 17-15 on Sunday. Washington moves to 6-6 after starting the season 2-6, and they’re currently sitting in the sixth seed in the NFC playoff picture as we enter the home stretch of the NFL regular season.

• Dan Campbell gets his first victory as the head coach of the Lions after Detroit upset the Vikings on a walk-off touchdown on 4th & 2 from Jared Goff to Amon-Ra St. Brown. After the game, Campbell dedicated the game ball to the Oxford High School community, reeling from a mass school shooting last week. Campbell read off the victims’ names and dedicated the win to the victims, their loved ones, and the community affected by the senseless violence.

• As you’re well aware, the Arizona Cardinals dominated the Chicago Bears on Sunday en route to their NFL-best 10th victory of the season. We don’t need to spend any more time on this one here; Lu has this one well-covered.

• Jaylen Waddle had another big game for the Dolphins, hauling in nine catches for 90 yards, and now owns the Miami Dolphins record for receptions in a season by a rookie, breaking Jarvis Landry’s rookie record of 84 catches. Waddle is also just 35 yards away from the Dolphins rookie receiving yards record of 883 yards set by Chris Chambers in 2001. Waddle is also on pace to break the NFL record, which is currently held by Anquan Boldin, who had 101 catches in 2003 as a rookie with the Cardinals. Waddle is on pace to finish this season with 112 catches over 17 games.

• Jonathan Taylor did Jonathan Taylor things as the Colts blew the doors off the Texans in a 31-0 whitewash. Taylor continued to make his MVP case with 143 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory. The Colts are 7-6 but are still on the outside looking in for the AFC playoff picture. Indianapolis will need to continue to win and hope for some help in losses for the Chargers, Bengals, and Steelers along the way.
