Last night’s sole Saturday game saw the Indianapolis Colts beat the New England Patriots by ten, but that doesn’t mean the Pats didn’t get in their shots.
Maybe a shot or two they shouldn’t have … here’s Colts quarterback Carson Wentz talking after the game about Patriots defensive end Matt Judon making things very personal (via the Indianapolis Star):
A Fox59 replay of the play’s aftermath showed Judon pushing and shoving Wentz in the head and neck area while the quarterback was still on the ground, but that wasn’t the reason why Wentz was so angry.
“Don’t need to go into specifics, obviously, but when a man’s ability to reproduce is being in question and there’s some other extracurriculars, guys’ hands need to be at their sides,” Wentz said. “Let’s just say that. When that happens, you can get pretty riled up.” …
“I don’t know if I’ve ever been that fired up on the football field,” Wentz said.
Hands at your sides. I couldn’t not chuckle. Not that I’d ever want to see another man’s ability to reproduce put at risk on the field.
We saw the two jawing at one point, but it’s not clear exactly what happened to precipitate the conflict:
Matt Judon and Carson Wentz spotted jawing after a play. Not sure they agreed to disagree.

The play before the beef was this Deatrich Wise sack, which featured Judon coming in for the cleanup, but you couldn’t quite see anything untoward. Obviously Wentz is implying there was a hit below the belt.
