Are you ready for some Tuesday afternoon NFL action? The latest surge in COVID cases across the NFL has set up a double-feature of NFL games, but both will air on FOX, and you’ll only get to catch the locally aired game. If you’re in the Chicagoland market, it will be the Washington Football Team and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Either way, football on a Tuesday is pretty cool, and this week’s schedule makes it so that the only days we won’t have NFL action are Wednesday and Friday. Not too shabby. You know, except for the whole COVID thing. Anyways, I digress. Let’s preview the matchups!
Washington Football Team at Philadelphia Eagles
Washington and Philly both check into this one at 6-7, and both are in the hunt for the seventh and final playoff berth with three games remaining after tonight. The Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints are tied for that spot at 7-7 entering play today, so the winner of tonight’s matchup will move into a three-way tie with the Vikings and Saints.

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams
The Seahawks are all but done when it comes to their playoff hopes this season, but the Rams are alive and well heading into tonight’s meeting with Seattle. Los Angeles checks in at 9-4, just a half-game behind the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West, and thanks to some help from the Detroit Lions, they could be even with Arizona with a win tonight at home.
Aside from the COVID-19 issues, the Rams come into tonight’s game and the final leg of the regular season looking good when it comes to health.
