The Chicago Bears released their first injury report of the week after today’s walk-through. Remember, the Bears are operating under the enhanced COVID-19 protocols, so today’s walk-through only provides us with estimations when it comes to game-day designations for this Sunday’s contest with the Seattle Seahawks.

Xavier Crawford remains in the concussion protocol after suffering a concussion during the Bear’s Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
Now, return specialist and newly-minted Pro-Bowler, Jakeem Grant Sr., is listed on the injury report as a non-participant with a concussion. Jakeem Grant’s appearance on the injury report with a concussion puts his availability for Sunday in jeopardy with the game just four days away.
If Grant missed the game, I imagine Khalil Herbert would fill in as the primary punt returner. He has been returning kicks for the Bears in recent weeks, with his workload in the backfield shrinking due to the return of the return David Montgomery and Damien Williams.
Jason Peters was also listed as a non-participant with a foot injury, and Justin Fields (ankle) and Marquise Goodwin (foot) were listed as limited participants in Wednesday’s walk-through.
Eddie Goldman (finger), Darnell Mooney (ankle), Roquan Smith (hamstring), and Khyris Tonga (shoulder) were all listed as full participants on Wednesday’s injury report.
