It’s been bandied about of late that Tom Brady’s retirement might not be as concrete as initially thought. In fact, there have even been rumors of San Francisco as the G.O.A.T.’s next stop. And while those rumors were close — at least, geographically — Brady is actually heading to Hollywood, where he will produce *and* star in a new movie about, well … himself, of course!
I mean, what else did you expect?
In his first post-retirement move, @TomBrady will produce and star in a new road trip movie titled #80forBrady. The film will also feature Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field https://t.co/lSJPijULra pic.twitter.com/JcBwrRJEg8

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brady will produce and star in a football-themed road trip movie titled ‘80 for Brady.’ The cast will include Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field (that’s some serious star power!) will star in the feature project that is being made by Paramount Pictures and Endeavor Content.
Inspired by a true story, Brady tells of four best friends and New England Patriots fans who take a life-changing trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see their quarterback hero, Tom Brady, play and the chaos that ensues as they navigate the wilds of the biggest sporting event in the country. Tomlin, Fonda, Moreno, and Field will play the quartet.
According to the report, production is set to kick off this spring, which kind of throws a wrench into the whole Brady comeback theory that we’ve seen the past few weeks.
