All right, nerds! It’s time to start bombarding the Chicago Bears with your résumés.
The powers that be at Halas Hall need your help:

FINALLY!
Hiring someone who fits this job summary feels long overdue:
The Chicago Bears are looking for an energetic, quantitative minded individual who wants to grow their career in the sports industry by using data to help drive decisions. The ideal candidate is highly driven and has outstanding quantitative skills and passion for football.
I sure hope the best and brightest come through in a big way. The Bears need to knock one out of the park with this hire.
If you’ve been watching Bears football long enough, then you already know the Bears are among the least analytically inclined teams in football. That they have been virtually absent when it comes to the analytics conversation fills me with disappointment. Don’t get me wrong. I understand that advanced metrics isn’t for everyone, but that is inconsequential. Because while other teams seek and discover new advantages, Chicago’s football team has long remained behind the times. Ideally, creating this position and making the right hire is a first step in the right direction.
But don’t hesitate. Applications are due by May 11. Go get ’em!
