Okay, so the Chicago Bears didn’t equip their first-year play-caller and second-year quarterback with high-octane offensive weaponry this offseason.
It hasn’t kept Bears fans from showcasing their faith in their favorite team’s signal caller.
In what we hope will be the first of many victories against Aaron Rodgers this year, Justin Fields got himself a big one:

As you might expect, quarterbacks are all over the top-10, making up nine of the 10 spots. But seeing Fields make the top-10 says everything you need to know about his budding popularity in Chicago. Even after a rookie year in which he threw more interceptions than touchdowns, Fields is feeling nothing but love from a fanbase willing to fork over its cash to show its support via merchandise sales. That they’re doing it at a higher clip than Rodgers’ backers adds a little extra spice to a Bears-Packers rivalry that could use a bit extra sauce from the Bears’ point of view.
At minimum, I tis nice to see someone still has faith in Fields โ especially during an offseason in which the optics suggest that others might not feel as strongly. But who cares about that nonsense. Bears fans love Justin Fields and they don’t care who knows. Let the good vibes roll, baby!
Fields jersey was the No. 2 best-seller on draft night in 2021, had 3 of the top 5 selling jerseys in the NFL, was the highest-seller among rookies by the time training camp began, and was the top-selling jersey in WISCONSIN. Take that, A-aron!
Now … how about some receivers whose jerseys fans will flock to the store to buy? Or am I asking for too much?
