Even though the idea of spring football intrigued me, I haven’t immersed myself in what the USFL is doing.
But clearly, that needs to change — especially if the broadcasts are presenting game-winning drives like this:
You've never had all-access audio to a game-winning drive like this before 👀🔥

I’m not one to make guarantees. But I *GUARANTEE* you’ve never seen a game-winning drive like the one above. That 4-minute clip shows so much. We’ve got helmet cam giving POV from players on the field. And we’re getting conversation from coaches on the sidelines and in the booth. On-field interactions and trash talk between players. Refs getting an earful from players after missing a call.
Who knew everything I’d ever want in a dramatic late-game drive could be found in a clip from the USFL?
I don’t know if the NFL will follow suit. After all, it’s not like the league needs the publicity. But it sure would be cool if they gave it a spin and tried some new stuff to further enhance the game-watching experience with all-access coverage that means ALL ACCESS.
