“Brady can play ’till he’s 44, Chad can play until he’s 26.”
Former NFL QB and half of ESPN’s ‘Manning Cast’ had some fun recently by going undercover and trying out to be a quarterback for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team. Manning came to the Penn State tryout disguised as “Chad Powers,” a home-schooled, 26-year-old quarterback looking to dabble in organized football for the first time.
Manning ran a blazing (lol) 5.54 40-yard dash before showing off his arm in passing drills during the tryout. When a coach asked Manning where he last played, he said that he’s never played anything but pick-up football because he was home schooled.
“My Mom was my coach, and my teacher.”
