Bills fans are living through one of the craziest weather cycles in recent history.
A weekend snowstorm that could dump as much as 6 feet of snow is forcing the Bills-Browns game to Detroit’s Ford Field. And as is the case with many in the Buffalo area, there were some Bills players who were snowed in under the white powdery stuff. But not to worry, Bills Mafia has it covered:
OK, so Bills fans won’t get the treat of having a snowglobe game against the Browns on Sunday. But a bunch of them will have stories they can cherish forever after lending a helping hand to get their favorite team’s players on the road to Detroit. My father once saved Keith Moreland’s boots. And I once hailed a cab for a ballplayer whose phone had died (long before the days of Uber and Lyft). However, I don’t know anyone who has a story like helping dig a pro football player out of a snowstorm. That takes the cake. And I hope those fans get rewarded for their efforts. If not with tickets, then with something that isn’t a heart-breaking playoff ouster that this fanbase is used to seeing.
