Ultimately, it was ruled an incomplete pass. But not before a muffed snap, an attempt at a throw by the Jets holder, and 3-4 fumble recoveries before a whistle finally blew the play dead. Credit to the refs for sorting through the madness after the play during the commercial break. But, boy howdy, that was a wet ball scrum unlike anything I’ve seen before.
And to think, we could see it again at any point over the next three quarters of play.
