The Bears’ list of inactive players came out a little bit later than usual. And when it finally dropped, a handful of starters were named as players who are OUT for today’s game against the Packers.
Here is the list in its entirety:
I’m counting five players with starting experience in this year who won’t be suiting up for the Bears this week. We already knew cornerback Kyler Gordon and safety Jaquan Brisker weren’t going to be available as they remain in concussion protocol. Offensive lineman Larry Borom didn’t seem in a place where his health would let him give it a go as he was dealing with his own injuries. But it was a bit surprising to see fullback Khari Blasingame and cornerback Kindle Vildor on the inactives list.
With this many players out of action, the Bears will need to dig deep into their depth chart to fill out the starting lineup. We’ll have more on that in Pre-Gamin’ later this morning.
