Holy Cow! The Lions Just Ended the Packers Season

Chicago Bears

Aaron Rodgers had a must-win home game where a victory would’ve propelled the Packers into the playoffs.

But as has been the case with Rogers and the Packers recently, a home game against an underdog opponent ended in grand disappointment.

Well, not so much for us. But more so for the folks in Green Bay.

However, it wasn’t the 49ers dishing out the punishment. Instead, it was the Detroit Lions delivering the knockout blow.

No, seriously. The Lions beat the Packers by a 20-16 score. And with that victory, kept Green Bay out of the playoffs. It is the first time the Packers will miss out on postseason action since 2018. What a shame:

I know, I know. I wouldn’t believe it either had you told me. But there is video proof of the event:

What a way to finish the regular season. I hate to give the Lions a bunch of love, but you’ve gotta give credit where it is due. The underdog team of the NFC North swept Green Bay this season. In other words, Detroit single-handedly kept the Packers out of the playoffs.

And with that, another round of Rodgers offseason is on the horizon. Get your popcorn ready.
