Here’s Nearly 4 Minutes of Bears First Round Pick Darnell Wright Bulldozing Defenders

Oh, you thought that we weren’t going to get a sizzle reel featuring the Bears’ first-round pick just because he didn’t play a skill position?

Ha!

Here are 3 minutes and 25 seconds of new Chicago Bears right tackle Darnell Wright blocking the heck out of opponents:

It’s a highlight reel, so I’m not going to start printing Super Bowl tickets. After all, those are designed to make you look good. But I loooove how active Wright is from the right tackle spot in looking for work. The best offensive linemen have a nose for making the block, then making the next one. Wright certainly looks to move well for a mountain of a man who checks in at 6-5 and 333 pounds. And seeing these clips makes me want to dig into his tape more.

The Bears have a new-look offensive line. It’ll feature a whole new right side, with Wright hopefully holding it down throughout the duration of his rookie deal (and beyond!).
