WATCH: Justin Fields and DJ Moore Are Already Making Connections at Halas Hall

I’ve been looking forward to this moment.

This appears to be the first video footage of quarterback Justin Fields and DJ Moore connecting at Halas Hall as members of the Chicago Bears. And it is exactly what I needed for my Sunday:

You’re right, Bears Twitter account person! Sundays are gonna be fun. Don’t get me wrong. I love spending my Sundays in the offseason doing things like watching a Star Wars marathon. But if we were to jump ahead to September, you’d see me ready to tune in to watch Fields and Moore cook.

Watching last year’s team had its moments. Mostly on offense when Fields was slinging it. And I expect more of the same in 2023. Heck, part of me is setting an even higher bar after an offseason of new additions. We’ve just got to get through minicamps, training camp practices, and preseason games in the four months ahead. There is no fast-forward button I can press to get us to Week 1. But seeing Fields and Moore — if only for a glimpse — makes me wish I could find it and press it.
