WATCH: Videos From Bears OTAs Because You Know You Want to Scratch That Itch
It has been 136 days since the Chicago Bears have played meaningful football.
So while we’ll wait out another 109 days until the next meaningful regular-season kickoff, let’s pass some time by watching clips shared from the beat from Tuesday’s OTAs:
Speaking from the place of someone who’s been looking for some semblance of normal, I’ve gotta say nothing says “normal” like springing to share Bears OTAs highlights.
I just can’t help myself.
And I’m not even sorry about it.
Plus, I know you can’t help yourself either.
The videos above give us a taste of everything we’ve been wanting. Justin Fields throwing to D.J. Moore? Check. A sighting of rookie running back Roschon Johnson? Double check. A splash play made by a big-ticket free agent signing on defense? Triple check. Sure, this is all sans pads while guys are wearing mesh shorts. But it is better than nothing. And at this point of the offseason, I’ll take whatever breadcrumbs come my way. At least, that’s my mindset until training camp rolls around.
Ha! Training camp. Soon, we’ll be seeing these guys in action at Halas Hall and the grind of football season will begin again. Not soon enough for my liking … but soon.
