The Chicago Bears used a tried and true formula to score their first touchdown of Week 4.
First, it was a defensive turnover. And then it was followed by a rushing touchdown behind a heavy set line. It doesn’t get more Bears-y than this:

Somewhere between those plays was a costly Rams defensive penalty that extended the drive. To this point, defensive penalties by Los Angeles have been Chicago’s best offensive plays. But when you are struggling like the Bears have struggled to this point of the season, you’ll take the gifts when you can get them. And if you can turn those into Roschon Johnson touchdowns, then it is a net win.
The score gave the Bears a 7-6 lead. They’ll need more in order to hold off this Rams bunch.
