Finally, Caleb Williams has a touchdown throw at Soldier Field.
And who better than DJ Moore to reel it in:

This was a thing of beauty. To watch Caleb Williams link up with DJ Moore on a touchdown toss warms my heart. It was a perfect pitch-and-catch from QB1 to WR1. And it extended the Chicago Bears’ third-quarter lead over the Los Angeles Rams to 17-9 (after Cairo Santos nailed the extra-point kick).
My favorite part of this touchdown is that it came after Caleb misfired throwing to DJ at the end of the first half. The two clearly haven’t been on the same page all year, and it showed late in second quarter when the Bears were trying to mount a scoring drive. But in what I thought was a sign of good things to come, Moore and Williams were chopping it up and dissecting the play on the sideline immediately after it happened. To see them link up on Chicago’s first offensive drive of the second half was wonderful to see.
