The Chicago Bears are just pouring it on at this point.
D’Andre Swift got sick with it on a well-executed screen play to get the offense into a goal-to-go situation. And just a few plays later, Offensive Coordinator Shane Waldron rewarded Swift for his efforts by leaving him in to score the 1-yard touchdown plunge:

Don’t you love seeing guys get an opportunity to finish what they started?
And to think, it was all made possible by a pair of second-round draft picks teaming up to create a turnover. Safety Jaquan Brisker (drafted in the second round in 2022) delivered the big hit that led to Gervon Dexter Sr. (a second-round pick in 2023) picking up the fumble:
The Carolina Panthers are trailing 21-7 with a little more with 2:14 left to go in the first half. More importantly, the Panthers look like the crummy team folks thought they’d look like when the schedules dropped last spring. Even still … Chicago’s football team shouldn’t let up. This feels like a good time to build a ball of lather and keep the good times rolling.
