The Arizona Cardinals’ injury report is pretty clean heading into their Week 9 matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Although the Arizona Cardinals activated defensive lineman Darius Robinson to the 53-man roster, he did not participate in practice on Wednesday as he continues to rehab from a calf injury. The team had to make this move to prevent sidelining him for the rest of the season, but his practice availability remains day-to-day, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. Robinson had only participated briefly when his practice window first opened.
Additionally, right tackle Kelvin Beachum, who was dealing with a groin injury, did not practice either. Beachum has routinely missed the first practice of each week throughout the season, and this Wednesday was no different.
Cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting and defensive lineman Roy Lopez, who missed last Sundayโs game, were back on the field. Murphy-Bunting fully participated, while Lopez was limited, as was defensive lineman Naquan Jones, who suffered a thigh injury against the Dolphins.
The Cardinals also opened the practice window for right tackle Jonah Williams, who has been sidelined since Week 1 with a knee injury. He was limited in practice.
