The Chicago Bears continue to find new ways to lose football games.
And for the third consecutive week, the Bears will reside in Heartbreak City after another gut-wrenching end-of-game performance against an NFC North opponent. In Week 11, it was a blocked field goal against the Green Bay Packers that delivered defeat from the jaws of victory. One week later, it was an overtime loss to the Minnesota Vikings after a valiant comeback. This time, it was the most bizarre clock management I have seen during the Matt Eberflus era.

How did the three Bears perform?
Caleb Williams — This is what the final line looked like for QB1 in his first-ever Bears-Lions Thanksgiving affair:
For as ugly as the first half looked, Caleb’s second half looked equally wonderful. Williams was dropping dots and making chicken salad out of chicken spit after intermission. Maybe he was inspired by Shaboozey’s halftime performance.
Terell Smith — I’ll be interested in seeing the snap breakdown this week. Smith finished with 4 solo tackles and a pass breakup on what could have been an interception.
Teven Jenkins — The Bears’ starting left guard had a crucial and costly penalty that wiped out a 12-yard completion to Keenan Allen that would’ve given the Bears a 1st-and-10 from the 13-yard-line. One play later, Caleb Williams was sacked on a QB draw. And then the game-ending chaos happened.
