Another week, another 2025 NFL Mock Draft.
It’s no longer a lock for a quarterback to be taken first overall despite the Titans needing one. Will it be Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter who hears their name called first? Will it be someone else? Let’s dive into our latest mock as we enter the last week of the NFL season.
2025 NFL Mock Draft
1. Tennessee Titans: CB/WR Travis Hunter – Colorado
Titans President of Football Ops Chad Brinker said that they wouldn’t pass on a “generational talent” at first overall. While he didn’t get into the specifics of what that meant, most seem to take the message that going with a QB isn’t a lock. Do the Titans see anyone this year as generational? Most don’t see either QB like that. Draft season is all about smoke screens, and this could certainly be one, but given what the man holding this pick said, I would think Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter’s chances of going here just increased quite a bit.
2. Cleveland Browns: QB Cam Ward – Miami
With Deshaun Watson suffering another Achilles tear, Cleveland will likely take a shot on a quarterback here. I wouldn’t be stunned if, at some point in the process, another QB starts climbing draft boards, but as of now, it seems like the clear top two are Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward. Whichever remains on the board at No. 2 is probably the pick for the Browns.
3. New York Giants: QB Shedeur Sanders – Colorado
The Giants finally get to draft their quarterback! If the Titans do opt to go a different direction with the top pick, it allows New York to finally get a crack at drafting a top QB. Shedeur Sanders might not be considered the level of prospect that Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye were last year, but he’s got a very impressive skillset that Brian Daboll would love to work with. Pairing him with Malik Nabers would be a nice start for a Giants offense that needs help.
4. New England Patriots: EDGE Abdul Carter – Penn State
The Pats most certainly need to add some help for Drake Maye. However, if Abdul Carter is still on the board here it’s pretty easy for me to see Mike Vrabel targeting him. Carter has emerged as the top edge rusher in this draft and he looks like an absolute game-breaker at the next level. This doesn’t address New England’s issues offensively, but it gives them a player with superstar potential at another position of need.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars: DL Mason Graham – Michigan
I was hopeful that Mason Graham might fall to the Bears earlier in this process, and I saw that path, but I think the closer we get to draft day, the more he will climb boards and probably not fall out of the top 5-7 picks. He’s an elite interior DL prospect, and Jacksonville needs a lot of help in that area.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: WR Tetairoa McMillan – Arizona
Vegas needs a quarterback, but there isn’t one at this time that feels worth the reach here. The next best thing is probably McMillan who is widely seen as the top WR in this year’s class and has all the tools to be a special talent at the next level. They still need to find a QB, but passing on the opportunity to take a high-end pass-catcher like McMillan here seems like a good idea.
7. New York Jets: CB Will Johnson – Michigan
I think the Jets also fall into a bit of a dilemma here. Do they potentially reach on an edge rusher they love? Do they go with an offensive lineman? Do they go with the best available at a different position? I keep going back and forth here, but, as of now, I think it’s the best player available in this situation, and Will Johnson is the pick.
8. Carolina Panthers: S Malaki Starks – Georgia
This pick feels like such a wild card. While the Jets I feel like would be down to Will Johnson or an OL, there seems like a bunch of directions for Carolina here. They could grab an edge rusher. They could go with their favorite available weapon for Bryce Young. I also think grabbing a potentially game-changing player at safety who fills a massive need could be a route here, too. With how deep this draft is with edge rushers, I could see Carolina waiting until the second round and going with someone like Starks here.
9. New Orleans Saints: EDGE James Pearce Jr. – Tennessee
I keep going back and forth on the order of these EDGE rushers, and I think momentum will continue to swing as we get closer to the draft. Pearce Jr.’s ceiling is so high, and I think he’ll put up some impressive numbers at the combine if he does participate. New Orleans needs help getting to the quarterback, Pearce Jr can provide that.
10. Chicago Bears: OT Will Campbell Jr – LSU
Whether he ends up at guard or tackle, if Will Campbell Jr is here I think Chicago takes him. Usually, going with a potential guard this early isn’t a strategy most teams opt for, but the interior offensive line is such a massive need for the Bears that the pick would be a home run even if Campbell ends up having to bump into guard (if he’s a good one). How the Bears handle free agency could change things here, but right now the pick has to be in the trenches.
11. San Francisco 49ers: OT Kelvin Banks Jr – Texas
The Niners could go with either side of the line of scrimmage here, and I’ve gone back and forth on what I think they’ll do here a bit. It will depend on how highly they value some of the other DL on the draft board, but Kelvin Banks Jr makes a lot of sense for them here to sure up the offensive side of the trenches either at guard or tackle.
12. Dallas Cowboys: RB Ashton Jeanty – Boise State
Dallas has more significant needs than a running back, but as we’ve seen this year, the right one can make a huge difference. Jeanty is an excellent running back, and he’s probably the best player available at this point. It seems like most mock drafts are making this connection, but that’s for a good reason. Dallas has a ton of holes in their roster that need filling. Having said that, the Cowboys’ ground attack has been brutal this year, and Jeanty can help.
13. Miami Dolphins: DL Kenneth Grant – Michigan
Miami needs to fill out both sides of their line of scrimmage. They need to get meanier, nastier, and tougher in the trenches. Kenneth Grant exudes all of those characteristics and can instantly upgrade a Dolphins defensive line that needs help, especially on the interior.
14. Indianapolis Colts: TE Tyler Warren – Penn State
The Colts have a big need in the secondary, and they could go that route with Malaki Starks or Benjamin Morrison here. However, they need to surround Anthony Richardson with as much help as possible and Tyler Warren can be just that. He can be a Swiss Army Knife for the Colts offense and help out in so many different ways. He’s an incredible playmaker and could be exactly the type of player Anthony Richardson needs.
15. Atlanta Falcons: EDGE/LB Jalon Walker – Georgia
Jalon Walker is a fantastic defender and can play in several spots throughout the front seven. He had 6.5 sacks for Georgia to go along with 60 tackles. The Falcons can use help getting to the quarterback, and Walker can do that and more for a defense that could use his versatility.
16. Arizona Cardinals – LB Jihaad Campbell – Alabama
This is the highest I’ve had Campbell on my draft board yet, and I think once the pre-draft process starts, he’ll have a chance to shoot up the draft board. The Cardinals will undoubtedly be looking to boost their defense, and Campbell can play on the edge or off the ball and be incredibly productive. He’s insanely explosive and has some freak-athlete traits, and I think he’ll be a quick riser as we get closer to April.
17. Cincinnati Bengals: EDGE Mykell Williams – Georgia
The Bengals defense was a s**t show this season, and that’s putting it kindly. They got an MVP-type effort from Joe Burrow but still missed the playoffs. They need to address that side of the ball in a big way. They could go multiple routes here, both along the defensive line or in the secondary. Ideally, I think they’d like to beef up the interior of that DL, but with no sure-fire option available here, Mykell Williams feels like a solid selection.
18. Seattle Seahawks: OT Josh Simmons – Ohio State
At one point, Josh Simmons was seen as the top tackle in this draft class. Injuries derailed him off that track a bit, but as time goes on and he gets healthy I think he’ll creep back up draft boards. Seattle needs help along the O-Line and Simmons could end up being a steal for them if he makes it this far.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: CB Benjamin Morrison – Notre Dame
Tampa needs help in the secondary. Their defense has been a bit of a roller coaster this season, and adding a lockdown corner would go a long way in helping them stay atop the NFC South next season. Morrison comes with some injury risk after much of his season at Notre Dame was lost due to hip surgery, but at his best, he’s a VERY good cornerback.
20. Denver Broncos: TE Colston Loveland – Michigan
Look for Sean Payton to continue to try to surround Bo Nix with as much help as possible on offense. A young quarterback’s best friend is a good tight end, and Colston Loveland was just that for his entire career at Michigan. Adding him feels like a very nice fit in Sean Payton’s offense.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers: WR Luther Burden III – Missouri
This would be a little out-of-character pick for Pittsburgh, which usually likes to build from the inside out. However, Luther Burden III had an outstanding career at Missouri and is a big play waiting to happen. He can come in on day one, significantly impact the Steelers’ offense, and be a weapon for whoever is playing QB in the Steel City next season.
22. Los Angeles Chargers: EDGE Nic Scourton – Texas A&M
With Khalil Mack set for free agency, I wouldn’t be stunned to see the Chargers let him walk and target a replacement in the draft. Nic Scourton was fantastic for Texas A&M & Purdue throughout his college career, and he’s just as effective stopping the run as he is getting to the quarterback. He’d be a very nice option for the Chargers if he’s available at 22.
23. Green Bay Packers: CB Shavon Revel Jr. – East Carolina
Green Bay loves spending first-round picks on defensive players. This pick feels like it would either be a cornerback or DL for them. Revel Jr. has all the tools and the frame to be a top cornerback in the NFL, though he might need a little development. The Packers develop as well as any team in the league, though, which makes him a great fit here, in my opinion.
24. Minnesota Vikings: CB Jahdae Barron – Texas
While Minnesota’s defense was good this past year, cornerback could be a spot to make an addition this offseason. Stephon Gilmore is up there in age and on an expiring deal. Barron would be a solid fit in that secondary and help give them a long-term answer at cornerback. He can play multiple positions on the back end and would be able to slot in wherever needed.
25. Houston Texans: OL Tyler Booker – Alabama
Houston’s interior offensive line was one of their biggest issues this season, and that issue came back to bite them against the Chiefs in the Divisional Round. If Tyler Booker is here at 25th Overall, he feels like a perfect fit in Houston.
26. Los Angeles Rams: OT Armand Membou – Missouri
The Rams need to add to their offensive line this offseason, and Membou is an option that’s rising up draft boards as the offseason progresses and the Draft gets closer. I think he might continue to do that and would provide Los Angeles some flexibility when sorting out their needs upfront.
27. Baltimore Ravens: EDGE Mike Green – Marshall
The Ravens did a fine job getting to the quarterback last season, but they weren’t always consistent and a lot of that production came from 33-year-old Kyle Van Noy. Going with an edge rusher here would make a lot of sense for Baltimore, and it would just be about which one they like the most. Green had a fantastic week at the Senior Bowl and has been a quick riser up a lot of boards. His explosiveness caught the eye of a lot of people, and I think we’ll see him become a big mover as the Draft process moves on.
28. Detroit Lions: EDGE Jack Sawyer – Ohio State
This pick feels like it will be used on whichever edge rusher Detroit has at the top of their board. Jack Sawyer had an outstanding career at Ohio State and was one of the best players on their National Championship defense. No matter who the Lions go with here, a running mate to play opposite Aidan Hutchinson feels like the way to go.
29. Washington Commanders: OL Jonah Savaiinaea – Arizona
For as good of a season as Washington has had, they could stand to improve at a few different positions. Defensively, they could use a little help getting to the quarterback, but the offensive line is a need too. Savaiinaea provides the Commanders with stability and flexibility along the offensive line and would fill a big need for them.
30. Buffalo Bills: DL Derrick Harmon – Oregon
The Bills were one of the most fun teams in the NFL this season, however, if there’s a spot to get them it’s their run defense and ability in the defensive trenches. Their losses this season have highlighted some needs on defense, namely up the middle. Harmon can come in and provide some help there right away.
31. Philadelphia Eagles: EDGE Shemar Stewart – Texas A&M
The Eagles I would think would like to add to their pass-rushing unit. While at this point there are quite a few routes they can go, they feel like a team that would take a shot on the tools, frame, and high ceiling of Shemar Stewart and rely on their ability to develop.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: OT Aireonte Ersery – Minnesota
While the Chiefs don’t have many holes, adding a tackle would be one of the few to address. Defensively, they’ve been great this year, but they can do a little bit better of a job protecting Patrick Mahomes. Ersery might need a little development, but there’s no better place to develop than Kansas City.
