On Monday afternoon, the NHL named their three stars of the week. And among the honored was none-other than our very own Patrick Kane (the Second Star of the Week).
Not bad, Kaner.

Boston’s David Pastrnak was named the first-star and Montreal’s Jeff Petry was named the third-star for their play over the past week.
Kane tallied seven points over the last three games for the Blackhawks, including a four-point night against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday and assists on both goals in the 2-1 win over the Stars on Sunday. Chicago went 2-0-1 this past week, as part of their 5-1-4 run over their last ten games.
Kane ranks tied for fifth in the NHL in points this season with 17 through 13 games. His 11 even-strength points this season also ranks in a tie for fifth in the league.
He’s a big part of the reason they look halfway decent.
