After posting eight points in four games this week, Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane was named the NHL’s Second-Star of the Week. The NHL also named Minnesota Wild forward Mats Zuccarello Third-Star and Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy First-Star of the week.

Kane’s eight points in the week lead all players in the NHL. He scored his 400th career goal on Sunday night against the Red Wings as part of a three-point night.

Kane leads the Blackhawks and is second in the NHL in points this season with 34 through 23 games. He has 12 points over his last six games played since February 17 and led the NHL in scoring in the month of February with 24 points in 13 games.
