It’s been three months since Kirby Dach broke his wrist at the World Junior Championships with Team Canada and had to have surgery to repair the damage.
He was given a four-to-five month timetable for a return, but he was reportedly ahead of schedule as early as three weeks ago. Tonight, he makes his return to the Chicago Blackhawks and makes his 2021 season debut.

Lets go!!
Dach’s return hopefully will be quick transition back to the form we saw him in during the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs. Although, that is probably wishful thinking.
As a rookie last season, Dach recorded 23 points in 64 games. The 2019 third-overall pick will center the third-line for Chicago tonight between Mattias Janmark and Dylan Strome.
And, hey, I won’t stop you from thinking about this like the Blackhawks just made a “trade deadline acquisition.” Play
