Prior to the Chicago Blackhawks and Nashville Predators game tonight in Nashville, the Blackhawks announced that forward Brandon Hagel would not be in the lineup as he awaited COVID test results.
In his place would be newly acquired Adam Gaudette will be making his first appearance with the Blackhawks this season.

With Gaudette in the lineup for Hagel, the Blackhawks mixed up the forwards lines prior to the first of three-straight games against the Predators.

This is the second time this season that Hagel has had to deal with COVID test results. He was placed in COVID protocol earlier this month after a false positive test. The rookie has 16 points in 42 games with the Blackhawks this season.
