Nothing gets me more juiced up for the 2021-22 NHL season than a good schedule release.
Even if it’s just the preseason:

On Monday afternoon, the Chicago Blackhawks released their preseason schedule. Here, you’ll see some familiar foes. Home-and-home sets of games against the Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, and Minnesota Wild are part of the Blackhawks’ tune-up for the 2021-22 NHL season. Note that the Oct. 2 preseason game against the Blues is set to take place in Independence, Mo., at the Cable Dahmer Arena.
Also, this is a good time to remind everyone the league is going back to the “conventional” divisions for the 2021-22 season after having to re-align divisions for the 2020-21 season. One difference, though, is the addition of the Seattle Kraken to the Pacific Division and the movement of the Arizona Coyotes from the Pacific to the Central Division.
Catch the fever.
