You’ve been waiting on the edge of your seat for long enough. Here it is, the 2021 Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Pyramid!
Like we’ve discussed, I believe the pyramid system, with its different levels/tiers, is a better system for ranking and evaluating prospects than a strict numerical ranking. That’s not to say the pyramid system is flawless, but it is my preference.
Without further ado…The 2021 Chicago Blackhawks Prospect Pyramid!
For those who may have had a hard time seeing the Pyramid in its full glory on the video, here is the breakdown of the tiers and where the prospects landed. I do encourage you to watch the video, however, because there is some added context.
Tier One – Special Prospect/Franchise Player
Tier Two – Quality Prospect/Long-time NHL Player
Tier Three – Good Prospect/Complementary Player
Tier Four – Average Prospect/Depth Player
Tier Five – Long Shot Prospect or Unknown Trajectory
The Blackhawks have an intriguing prospect system and I tried my best to illustrate that in my Prospect Pyramid breakdown. I hope you enjoy! See you again in 2022.
