Two of the biggest highlights of the roster include both 2020 and 2021 first-round picks from Chicago, Lukas Reichel and Nolan Allan. Also notable on the roster are Colton Dach, Mike Hardman, Alec Regula, Isaak Phillips, and Arvid Söderblom.
The prospects will be coached by Rockford IceHogs head coach Derek King and his assistants Anders Sorensen, Brian Campbell, and Peter Aubry.
The Blackhawks are participating in this mini-camp showcase with the Wild this year as an alternative to the Traverse City rookie tournament that the team has participated in for the past few years. Due to COVID concerns, the Blackhawks and Wild decided to hold the showcase instead.
The Wild will be showing both games between the prospect teams on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. on their team YouTube page. All practices are open to the public and the showcase runs from the 15th to the 19th.
