The Chicago Blackhawks have a new helmet sponsor for the 2021-22 season.
After United Airlines was the helmet sponsor for the club for the first time they were allowed last season, the club announced on Thursday that Belle Tire would be replacing it as the new sponsor this season.

Belle Tire, which is a Michigan-based company with a long history with the Detroit Red Wings, currently does not operate any locations in Illinois. The plan, however, is for Belle Tire to open four new locations in the Chicagoland area over the next four years. The partnership between Belle Tire and the Blackhawks is to help facilitate the expansion into Illinois and the relationship with the new locations, according to the club and company.
It’s fine, I guess. I could do without the mascot logo, but a wise band once said, “in the end, it doesn’t really matter.”
