I’m going to make quick work of this one – like the Penguins did to the Blackhawks tonight – so that you can get on with your Saturday evening. I hear there’s a good baseball game tonight.
I’ll make this quicker than the first Penguins goal tonight. Or, quicker than Marc-André Fleury’s exit tonight. Or… never mind. I can do this all night, but I’ll spare you.
Things have gotten comically bad here, very quickly. Marc-André Fleury leaves the net to retrieve the puck, and it ends up in the back of the empty Hawks net. 2-0 Penguins. #CHIvsPIT pic.twitter.com/8aJdih7cYA

This game was an absolute disaster. I feel like screaming at the Blackhawks: STOP TURNING THE PUCK OVER IN YOUR ZONE! This team is in big trouble. They looked dazed and confused in all phases of the game. There’s really nothing in the way of silver linings to hang your hat on after this road trip, other than the fact that the road trip is over.

One point. That’s all the Blackhawks (now 0-2-1) will head home with, out of a possible six points in this three-game road trip.
Thank goodness the third period flew by without a single whistle for the first 12:28.
This third period is flying. Almost 11 minutes in, and there hasn't been a single whistle. Which is an excellent thing if you're a Hawks fan. This road trip can't end fast enough.

Let’s take a look at the box score, and then flush this one and get ready for a much-needed homestand at the United Center starting Tuesday night.
