Nicolas Beaudin was recalled to fill a roster void for the Blackhawks in their matchup with the Jets in Winnipeg on Friday night since Jujhar Khaira and Riley Stillman could not travel with them the team to Canada due to COVID-19 restrictions in place by the Canadian government.
And now he’s being sent back.
#Blackhawks are sending Nicolas Beaudin back to Rockford this morning. IceHogs play their home opener tonight.

Beaudin skated just 11:08 last night for the Blackhawks in their 5-1 loss to the Jets and tallied zero points in the losing effort. Beaudin returns to Rockford, whose home opener is tonight when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins at 6:00 (ct) at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The IceHogs are 2-4-0-0 on the season.
The Blackhawks’ next game is on Sunday evening when they host the Nashville Predators for the first time this season.
