With eight players in COVID protocol, the Islanders will have their next two games against the Rangers on Sunday, and the Flyers on Tuesday being pushed back. The Blackhawks are scheduled to face the Islanders on Sunday, December 5th, in New York.
At 5-10-2, the Islanders are in last place in the Metropolitan Division and are tied with the Montreal Canadiens for the third-fewest points in the league this season.
