This was to be expected with the postponements coming from games in Canada, but the NHL announced a number of new postponed games on Wednesday night, with the January 18 game between the Blackhawks and Oilers in Edmonton included.

This now puts the Blackhawks at six postponed games this season, with four of those games being home games. The NHL has yet to announce any of the make-up dates, which are presumed to be during what was supposed to be the Winter Olympic break.
