With video surveillance footage, TMZ reports that the valets parking their cars on the night of December 29 were held up by carjackers around 8:30 p.m. Murphy’s 2017 Porsche Panamera and Jones’ 2021 Jeep Trackhawk were both taken. It has not been disclosed which restaurant they were at, but it was reportedly near the United Center.
Chicago was scheduled to play the Winnipeg Jets that night, but the game was postponed earlier in the week. Neither of Murphy or Jones have commented on the incident publicly.
