Blackhawks Roster Moves: Delia Recalled as Soderblöm and Morris Head to Rockford

Chicago Blackhawks

With Kevin Lankinen out with a hand injury, the Blackhawks are shuffling their backup goaltenders behind Marc-André Fleury. This morning, Chicago recalled goaltender Collin Delia from the Rockford IceHogs and assigned goaltenders Arvid Söderblom and Cale Morris to the IceHogs.

Delia has made one appearance for the Blackhawks this season, and it wasn’t pretty. He made his only NHL start this year on January 1 against the Nashville Predators, but lasted just one period after allowing three goals on seven shots faced. In his NHL career, all with Chicago, Delia holds an 8-9-4 record in 25 appearances with a .902 save-percentage and a 3.72 GAA. In the AHL this season, Delia holds a 6-6-2 record with a .910 save-percentage, a 2.77 GAA and a shutout.

Söderblom has made two appearances for the Blackhawks this season, including his first NHL start on January 2 against the Calgary Flames, making 37 saves in a 5-1 loss. In the AHL this season, Söderblom holds a 6-6-0 record with a .914 save-percentage and a 3.11 GAA.
