Blackhawks CEO Rocky Wirtz called Davidson “the leader we trust to oversee our hocket operations” and admitted that the Blackhawks as an organization “have a lot of work to do on and off the ice” in his statement released this morning on the hiring of Davidson.

Kyle Davidson will be introduced in a press conference at 1:30 p.m. (ct), streamed live on the team’s website and YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter channels.
