Officially-Official: Blackhawks Announce Kyle Davidson as General Manager, Press Conference Coming Later Today

There it is! Kyle Davidson has officially been named the 10th General Manager in the Chicago Blackhawks history this morning.

Blackhawks CEO Rocky Wirtz called Davidson “the leader we trust to oversee our hocket operations” and admitted that the Blackhawks as an organization “have a lot of work to do on and off the ice” in his statement released this morning on the hiring of Davidson.

Kyle Davidson will be introduced in a press conference at 1:30 p.m. (ct), streamed live on the team’s website and YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter channels.
