What To Watch For
• The Bruins enter tonight’s contest, having won seven of their last nine contests and owners of the fourth seed in the Atlantic.
• Derek King will need another top-line explosion against the Bruns tonight as they come into this one with the 5th lowest goals per game allowed (2.68). Linus Ullmark checks in tonight with a 17-9-2 record this season. The veteran netminder allows just 2.81 goals per contest and owns a .907 save percentage.
• Patrick Kane, Dylan Strome, and Alex DeBrincat combined for five goals in an 8-3 drubbing of the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night. Patrick Kane logged a career-best six points and Dylan Strome recorded his second hat trick of the season with all three goals being assisted by Patrick Kane.
• Since January 21 Dylan Strome is shooting 25 percent on 48 shots, the 10th best mark among skaters with 15 games and 20 shots in that span. Strome’s 12 goals since January 21 are tied for 11th with Sidney Crosby and Leon Draisaitl.
• Patrick Kane has benefitted from Strome’s emergence, as well. Since January 21, Patrick Kane has 29 points (7th), 10 goals (21st), and 19 assists (5th).
