Key Dates From the Blackhawks 2022-23 Regular Season Schedule
It’s here! The 2022-23 NHL regular season schedule was released on Wednesday afternoon, and the Blackhawks have some fun dates on the calendar to circle in ink.
- Season Opener: @ Colorado — Oct. 11
The Blackhawks will get to stand by as the Avalanche raise their banner and celebrate a championship. At least we’ll get to see a good party.
- Home Opener: vs. Detroit — Oct. 21
Yeah, that’s right… the Red Wings are the Blackhawks’ home opener.
- All-Star Weekend — the 2023 NHL All-Star Game is on my birthday, Feb. 4. No pressure to pay for me to go, bosses… I promise…
Wanna see Connor McDavid? Both games in Chicago are early — Oct. 27 (during the season’s initial homestand) and Nov. 30.
What about the Original Six games?
- Detroit at Chicago — home opener (Oct. 21)
- Boston at Chicago — March 14
- Toronto at Chicago — Feb. 19
- Montreal at Chicago — Nov. 25 (at 1 PM CT)
- New York Rangers at Chicago — Dec. 18
What we don’t know is when the Alex DeBrincat revenge game(s) might take place if he’s traded in the coming days…
